License Agreement

1. Introduction
This software product ("Vibe Write" or "the Software") and related services are products of Lean Code LLC, a California, USA corporation ("LICENSOR" or "Us"). This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is an agreement between LICENSOR and you, either an individual not under the age of 16, or an entity ("You" or "Your").
By using the Software, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you don't accept the EULA, do not use the Software.
2. License Grant
The Software is licensed, not sold. This agreement gives you the right to:
- Install and use the Software on up to 3 devices per license
- Access the core functionality including speech-to-text transcription and cursor integration
- Use the multi-provider support with OpenAI Whisper and Straico APIs
- Utilize all user experience features including hands-free mode and statistics tracking
- Configure settings and customize the Software according to your preferences
3. Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Software
- Rent, lease, loan, or sublicense the Software
- Use the Software for any illegal purpose
- Share your license key or account credentials
- Use the Software to violate others' rights
4. API and Third-Party Services
The Software integrates with third-party services:
- You are responsible for maintaining valid API credentials for OpenAI and Straico
- API usage is subject to the providers' terms of service
- LICENSOR is not responsible for third-party service availability
- Separate agreements may be required for API services
5. Data and Privacy
Regarding your data:
- Audio recordings are stored locally on your device
- Transcription providers may process audio according to their policies
- You retain ownership of your recordings and transcriptions
- You are responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection laws
- Do not record or transcribe others without their consent
6. Updates and Support
LICENSOR may provide:
- Software updates and bug fixes
- Technical support for licensed users
- New features and improvements
- Documentation and user guides
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. LICENSOR is not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or business interruption
- Third-party service availability or performance
- Transcription accuracy or reliability
8. Changes to Agreement
LICENSOR may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
